SCHOOL NOTES

Miss C. J. Palmer remains at Elmwood School for another year.

Miss Clara Chambers has left the Rowan Mills School to become principal of the two-room school at St. Williams, at a salary of $750.

Hemlock, Houghton Centre and Fairground are the only three schools in Houghton that have reported the re-engagement of last year's teachers.

Miss Ethel T. Wilkinson of Courtland is to teach again next year in S.S. 3 Middleton, Armbrust's, at an increased salary.

Elliott's, No. 11 Woodhouse, keeps Miss Clara Donovan another year at $700.

S.S. 5 Townsend, Bloomsburg, has secured as teacher Miss Irene Smith, who has been at No. 4 Windham for four years. The salary is reported as $?00. To date this is the top-notch rural school salary in Norfolk.

Miss Georgina Diamond is to remain at Ode's School, No. 3 Woodhouse, for another year.
