Tisdale-Derrickson

The marriage was solemnized yesterday afternoon,
Wed. 27 Feb 1918, of Miss Erie May Derrickson to
Mr. Maitland Tisdale of Woodhouse.

The ceremony was performed at two o'clock at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Charles W. Derrickson,
Rev. J. H. McBain officiating. Only immediate friends and relatives were present.

The bride wore a becoming gown of white crepe de chene with pearl trimmings and the usual veil fastened with orange blossoms. She was attended by her sister, Miss Gladys M. Derrickson, attired in a pretty gown of grey duchess satin, who carried a bouquet of ophelia roses.

The best man was Mr. Harry Fisher of Cobourg.
Little Miss Henen Booth, a cousin of the bride,
dressed in rose silk, acted as flower girl.

At the conclusion of the ceremony six girl friends of the bride served a buffet luncheon to the guests and Mr. and Mrs. Tisdale left on the afternoon G.T.R. train to Toronto, the bride traveling in a suit of dark brown taffeta silk with hat to match.

Upon their return they will be at home on the groom's farm in Woodhouse.
