A lightly edited partial transcript of an item on page 9 of the 7 Nov 1918 Simcoe Reformer.

The death took place at her home in Brantford on Tuesday, 29 Oct 1918 of 
Millie Simmons, wife of Nelson Jackson, 
in her 30th year. Mrs. Jackson was a victim 
of the influenza epidemic.

Besides her husband there survive to mourn her loss a little daughter, Rezellz, six years of age, her father, mother, and several sisters and brothers.

Deceased had a wide circle of friends and acquaintances to whom she was greatly endeared by her many amiable qualities.

Mrs. Jackson was quite well known here, where she frequently visited her sister-in-law, Mrs. J. Stegmier. Mrs. W. H. Pursel of Round Plains and Mrs. Clarence Ferris of Windham are other sisters-in-law.

Interment was made in Farringdon Cemetery, Brantford.
