Ralph
Rockefeller
The death took place in
Simcoe on Friday, 12 Jun 1931 of Ralph Rockefeller of Concession 3,
South Walsingham, after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Rockefeller, who
survived 23 months in the front line trenches overseas with the
133rd Battalion during the Great War, resided for many years near
Rowan Mills and was 41 years old.
His father, Albert
Rockefeller, died of pneumonia in February of this year.
Surviving are his wife and
mother, four sons, four daughters, as well as three sisters and two
brothers.
The funeral was conducted
under military auspices on Monday with a service at Cultus United
Church and interment in the cemetery there. Rev. R. D. Trask
of Port Rowan conducted the service and a number of
ex-service men acted as pall bearers.
