One more of the County's
links with the past snapped with the death of
Mrs. Isabella Robbins [sic] of Windham
on Saturday 25 Jan 1919.
She was born 13 July 1838
at Waterford. Her husband, the late Edward Robbins [sic],
died about five years ago.
To them were born a number
of children, of whom the following are left:
Gilbert, formerly of Simcoe, now
of Saskatoon, Sask.;
John, also of Saskatoon;
George and Charles of Brantford;
Mrs. Bates, Mrs. Clara Hunter,
Mrs. Bertha Ward, and Miss Edna, all of Windham.
Mr. Clayton Hunter of
Windham is a grandson. Wm. Forse of Waterford is a brother of the
deceased.
The funeral was held on
Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Mr. Taylor, Baptist minister of
Teeterville, officiating. Interment was made [in] the Lynnville
Cemetery.
