A lightly edited partial transcription of the St. Williams column on page 13 of the 12 Dec 1918
issue of Simcoe Reformer

The death of Leo O. Price occurred on Griday [sic] morning, 6 Dec 1918, at the home of his parents here, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Price, after an illness of several months during which time he was carefully nursed by a loving mother and a devoted wife.

Before he was taken ill, he was in the employ of the Grand Trunk Railway, and for a time acted as baggageman on the South Norfolk branch, and was respected not only by the Railway Brotherhood, but by all who knew him here.

Almost four years ago he married Pearl Christmas of Walsingham Centre, who survives him. He was 28 years old, with bright prospects before him until the illness came which caused his death.

The family have the sympathy of the people of St. Williams in their sorrow.
