The death occurred on Monday afternoon at his late residence, of James E. Potts, after a few weeks illness with heart trouble at the age of 61 years.

Deceased was a member of the Methodist Church and was a kindly neighbor and friend.

The funeral services were conducted at his late residence by Rev. Mr. Voaden of Teeterville, after which the remains were taken to Kelvin Cemetery for interment.

Deceased leaves to mourn his departure a sorrowing widow, two sons and three daughters; 
also one brother, Jacob Potts of Brantford, 
and two sisters, Mrs. George Crabbe of Kelvin, and 
Mrs. William Crabbe of Peace River, who will have the sympathy of the whole community in their bereavement.
