The Late Wm. Loder Park

Word has reached us of the death of W. L. Park, which took place at Seattle.

The late Mr. Park, the son of Loder Park and Elizabeth Merritt, was born in Townsend, where he lived for some years, then in Brantford, later moving to Detroit.

He married Miss Jane, daughter of Rev. Jacob Van Loon. She predeceased him some years ago and was buried in Detroit.

Mr. Park had gone to Seattle to spend a few months with his eldest son, when he was stricken with pneumonia and died after a short illness.

The body was brought to Detroit to the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Matthews, where for a number of years he had made his home, and buried from there in the family plot.

Mr. Park, who was of a kindly genial nature, made hosts of friends wherever he went and will be much missed by them as well as by his family.
