MRS. HENRY
BARTHOLOMEW
On Thursday, 3 Sep 1925 at
Vanessa, Ont., Emma, beloved wife of Henry Bartholomew, passed
into the "Sweet and Blessed Country."
Those who were intimately
associated with her have lost a rare friend. The church in all its
departments will miss her kindly counsel and unceasing efforts to
help. The community has lost one of its most highly respected
citizens and the home a loving wife and mother.
The funeral was held from
her late residence Saturday, 5 Sep 1925 and the large gathering of
relatives and friends, together with the many beautiful floral
tributes, indicated the esteem in which she was held. She leaves a
sorrowing husband and daughter Alma, and a wide circle of friends.
The service was conducted
by her pastor the Rev. Wm. Waldron and Elder J. B. Moore of
Waterford, an intimate friend of the family for many years, who in
their addresses paid high tribute to the life of the departed.
Servant of God, well done!
Thy glorious warefare's past;
The battle's fought, the victory's won
And thou art crowned at last.
