A lightly edited partial transcript of Vittoria column on page 11 in 25 Jan 1917 Simcoe Reformer. 

Mrs. James H. McCall died suddenly at Belle Plaine, Sask., at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Barber, where she was on a visit, on the 3rd of this month. 

Mr. and Mrs. Barber came east with the remains. The funeral was held from the home of the late Mrs. McCall, on January 10th; interment took place at the Presbyterian Cemetery. 

Those attending the funeral from a distance were: 
Mr. and Mrs. Barber of Belle Plaine, Sask., 
Mrs. Watson of Englehart; 
Mr. Archie McCall of Flint; 
Mrs. (Dr.) Kennedy, a sister, of Detroit; 
Mrs. Beemer, a sister-in-law, of Toronto; 
Mrs. T. Snyder, a niece of Cayuga; 
and Miss Maggie McCall of St. Williams. 

Mr. Clarence McCall of Vittoria, is a son. 

Mr. and Mrs. Schooley of Osage, Sask., were unable to come, as Mrs. Schooley is out west for her health. 

Mr. F. W. Wilson of Petrolea, telegraphed that he was unable to come to attend the funeral.
