LIEUT GEORGE HUNTER

Lieut. George Hunter, the youngest son of Mr. A. Hunter of Norfolk Street, Simcoe, enlisted in January 1915, and went overseas in the 37th Battalion in November 1915,
as Sergeant of the 37th Battalion Scouts.

He was kept at Bramshott for 15 months instructing in map reading, and then was sent to Bexhill, on the same work, and has been there for a year.

During these months of teaching in England, Lieut. Hunter was keenly desirous of being sent to France;
so was delighted when he got orders in March to
report to his Reserve Battalion for draft to France.

He crossed over to France on 10 Apr 1918 and is
now with the Second Battalion, "Somewhere in France."
