Death of Mr.
H. A. Hardy
of Simcoe
The Brantford Expositor

and clerk of the peace for the county of Norfolk. The sad event took
place Thursday last at his home in Simcoe.

at the time of his death. He was born in Brant county, and before
commencing the study of law was in business for a short time in
Simcoe.
He was called to the bar in
[1850].
He resided and practiced law in Brantford until some 10 years ago,
when he received the appointment of county attorney of Norfolk
and removed to Simcoe.
He was for many years
solicitor of Brantford, and enjoyed an extensive practice in
partnership with his nephew,
the Hon. A. S. Hardy of that city.
Mr. Hardy was was married to
a daughter
of the late Rev. John Ryerson, who survives him as well as four
children, one son and three daughters, who will have general
sympathy in their sad bereavement.
