Mrs. Thomas Irwin, John Street, has received a telegram from her brother, Mr. Allan C. Glover of Harrisville, Mich., announcing the death last Friday of their mother, Mrs. Sarah Glover, widow of James P. Glover, who died four years ago. Deceased lived to the ripe old age of 85 years.

She was born in London, Ont., but moved to Forestville, Norfolk County, when quite young. There she lived with her husband until about 30 years ago, when Mr. and Mrs. Glover went to Michigan to be with several of their children who settled in that state. Latterly she had made her home with her son, Allan C. Glover.

Eight children survive the aged lady: Mrs. Arthur McCall and Mrs. Welsh, who live in British Columbia,
Allan C. and Charles Glover, residents of Harrisville;
Mrs. (Dr.) Dedman, in Michigan;
William Glover in Georgia; Frank Glover, a sailor; and Mrs. Thomas Lang [sic] of Simcoe.
