Roger Crysler, Treasurer of Norfolk, Passes Mr. Roger Crysler, whose serious
illness was chronicled in He had been ill since the previous
Tuesday morning, when Mr. Crysler was born in Delhi, 75
years ago. He was one of Roger Crysler II engaged at
various times in school teaching, farming and merchandising. He always
took a leading part in municipal affairs, and long served his township as
councillor Twenty-three years ago he
succeeded the late Thomas Walsh When Delhi became an incorporated
village, Mr. Crysler was chosen clerk and treasurer, offices which he
held to the His widow was Miss Jane Ann Smith,
daughter of Deacon The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon to Delhi Cemetery, the services being in charge of Mr. Candell, rector of St. Alban's (Episcopal) Church, of which deceased had for years been the foremost member. The pall-bearers were Delhi friends of Mr. Chrysler. They were: W. L. Sutherland, E. C. Jones, G. G. Byers, E. Heath, A. Steele and J. S. Hart. The Delhi council attended as a
