A partial, edited transcript of the Wyecombe column on page 2 of 24 May 1917 Simcoe Reformer.

A beautiful life came to a close when Mrs. Joseph Cattle was called home on Friday, 11th inst., in her 85th year.

The funeral, which was held the following Monday afternoon, was attended by a wide circle of friends and relatives to pay their last respects to one beloved by all who knew her. Rev. Mr. Meek took charge of the service.

The children all loved Auntie Cattle and loved to go to her home.

Our sympathy goes out, especially to her niece, Miss Mabel, who resided with her affectionately cared for her.
