Port Dover: Funeral services for the late Wallace A. Bush, who passed away in Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, on Sunday, May 7th, in his 78th year, were held on Tuesday afternoon from the W. B. Thompson Funeral Home, here.

Rev. Mr. Hagan of the Pentecostal Church, Simcoe, officiated, assisted by Rev. Mr. Atkinson.

Deceased was born in Woodhouse Township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bush, and was one of a family of 13 children, eight of whom are living.

Surviving are:
his wife, who was formerly Mary Atkinson of Port Dover, 
a daughter, Mrs. Irving Elliot of Hamilton; 
sons George of Caledonia, and Avery Bush of Port Dover; 
five sisters: Mrs. Elizabeth Smith and 
Mrs. Nellie Montonial of St. Catharines, 
Mrs. George Cosby of Hamilton, 
Mrs. Herbert Waldick and 
Mrs. Mary Waldick of Port Dover, 
and three brothers, Carmy Bush of Port Dover, 
Holly Bush of Simcoe, and Harvey Bush of California.

The late Mr. Bush had spent his entire life in this vicinity, with the exception of a few years in Hamilton, and has been a resident of Simcoe for many years.

The pallbearers were Messrs. Edgar Schott, 
Joseph Lindsay, Culver Scram, Arthur Post, 
Anvil Charters, Lawrence Pake.

Among the out-of-town relative attending the funeral were: Mrs. and Mrs. James Bush, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, Mr. and Mrs. George Atkinson and daughter Edna, 
Mrs. Nellie Montonia of St. Catharines;
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Cosby, Mrs. George Cosby, 
Mr. and Mrs. John Atkinson and son Paul. 
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Elliot of Hamilton;
Mr. and Mrs. George Bush of Caledonia; 
Mr. and Mrs. Herb Condlin of Windham; 
Mr. and Mrs. James Atkinson of Niagara Falls; 
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Deal of Vittoria; 
Mr. Wm. Atkinson of Ellaton, and 
Mr. Clare Deal of Woodhouse.
