Sanderson
        Heirs at Law
About
thirty-six hours before his death, the late Charles Sanderson made a
will in which he appointed his daughter, Mrs. Kindree, and his sister,
Mrs. Longstreet, executors, and left practically all of his property to
        the former.
Immediately
after his funeral his widow and his two remaining daughters, Mrs. Laub
and Miss Shirley Sanderson, went to Cultus and took possession of his
store and residence. They placed Arthur Raven, Mr. Sanderson's clerk, in
        charge of the store.
Last
Tuesday the executors of the will applied by their solicitor, E. J.
Jones of Delhi, for an injunction to close the store and compel the
surrender to them of the property.
This
interim injunction was granted to them by Judge Boles, and made
        returnable in Toronto on Thursday.
On
Thursday Chief Justice Falconbridge ordered the re-opening of the store
by Raven and postponed the argument on the other points until Monday.
On
Monday the adjourned hearing was held at Osgoode Hall. Mr. Browne of
Tillsonburg appeared for Mrs. and Miss Sanderson; Mr. T. J. Agar for
Mrs. Laub, and Mr. Jones of Delhi for the executors.
Further
than to confirm Arthur Raven in the management of the store no decision
        was reached.
The executors
have applied for probate of the will and the contestants have filed a
        caveat.
The likelihood is
that the several actions will be consolidated and fought out in one High
        Court case.
