Well Known Former Secretary of Norfolk Fair Died Yesterday

suffered by him during the last few months.
The late Mr. Murphy was in his 73rd year and was one of the best

his health gave evidence of giving out, and since that time has lived
a retired and quiet life.
He was born in Simcoe and has lived here all his life. He was a
member of the Ancient Order of United Workmen, and was an officer in
that lodge for over thirty years. He was also a member of St. James
Methodist Church.
The deceased leaves to mourn the loss of a kind husband and father,
his wife, two daughters and two sons. Mrs. Malloy of Hamilton and Miss
Pearl at home; the sons are Roscoe of Montreal and Orville of St.
Thomas. They were all present at the hour of Mr. Murphy's death.
The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock to
Oakwood cemetery.
