Death of Calvin McMichael

The not unexpected death of Mr. Calvin McMichael occurred on Tuesday evening and thus another of Townsend's respected farmers has passed away.

It is well known by our many readers that Mr. McMichael has been a sufferer from consumption for nearly two years and he has gradually become worse until death came on Tuesday.

He was only confined to the house some two or three weeks.

A wife and daughter, Mrs. Lulu Duncombe are left to mourn their loss.

Mr. McMichael was a son of the late Richard McMichael, who was one of Norfolk's earliest pioneers, and a relative of many of the McMichaels in this vicinity.

He was a member of the I. O. O. F. and C. O. F.

The funeral takes place from his late residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
