Obituary. -- It is again our painful duty this week to record the death of one of our eldest citizens, Mrs. Mary McLean, relict of the late John McLean, Lynn Valley.

She was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and came to this country about 42 years ago, and settled at Lynn Valley in this country, where she remained until the death of her husband.

She was a member of the old Church of Scotland until the union of the Presbyterian Church and often has she walked three miles every Sabbath day to Simcoe, to be in the house of God. She loved the services of the Sanctuary, and often listened with delight to the Gospel from the lips of her friend and pastor the Rev. M. Livingstone.

After the death of her husband she removed to Port Dover, and has resided with her neice Mrs. Inman until the time of her death. She has been a great sufferer for over a year, which she bore with great patience and resignation, dying with a firm trust in that Saviour "who loved her and gave himself for her."
