An unedited transcription of a page 1 article from 6 Jun 1901 Simcoe Reformer.

"We are pleased to note the following: R. R. McCall, our former townsman and bandsman who left here for Rochester, N.Y., a year ago, has been very successful both as a piano and organ tuner. Two months ago he was given the position of head tuner for the distributors of Steinway's pianos at that city known as the firm of J. W. Martin & Bros., "The Old House" which has been in existence since 1861. We quote a few of the prominent musicians for whom Mr. McCall has tuned: Donani's Piano Recital, Lyceum Theatre, March 11th, 1901; Madame Schumann Heink, World's famous Contralto, Baker Theatre, May 11th, 1901; Prof. Ludwig Schenk, Violin Soloist and Chorus Director, First Unitarian Church, May 17th; Dousenbach's Orchestra, Hermon Dousenbach's Director, Baker Theatre, May 20th."
