OBITUARY
Port Dover Maple Leaf

Died at Welwyn, Sask., Jan. 14th, 1910, Jas. Henry Maneer, 37 years.

At the request of the deceased his remains were brought here for interment. The funeral took place from the residence of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. Maneer, on Monday last and was largely attended.

He has lived in the Prairie Provinces for the past 17 years and was town Treasurer and Sec.-Tres. of the Board of Trade of Welwyn, and these bodies united in placing a very handsome wreath on his coffin as a mark of the esteem in which he was held. He kept a general store there for some years back.

For fourteen weeks he battled bravely with typhoid fever and congestion of the lungs but eventually had to succumb. His sorrowing parents and other relatives have the sympathy of many friends.

Among others the following were present at the funeral: -- Chas. W. Maneer, Piqua, Ohio; John S. Maneer and wife, Welwyn, Sask; E. A. Powell and wife, Hamilton, Ont; Mrs. John Reid, Toronto, Ont; Miss E. Bell, Barrie, Ont; Mr. Wm Fallis, Welwyn, Sask.
