The Late Mr. Bruce Jamieson

The death occurred on Sunday, January 3rd, 1915 at his home in Langton, of Mr. Bruce Jamieson, after an illness of about four weeks from goitre.

Mr. Jamieson was well known in the community, having assisted Mr. T. H. Collings in his store at Langton a number of years.

He was an active and consistent member of the Baptist Church, and held the position of treasurer of the church, and also taught in the Sunday school.

He was aged thirty years, and his death at so early an age is very deeply regretted by many friends. The deceased is survived by his wife and one daughter, about seven years of age.

The funeral took place on Wednesday. The services were conducted by the Rev. D. N. Cameron, assisted by Rev. C. N. Dewey of Tillsonburg, a former pastor at Langton.

Mr. Bruce Jamieson was one of the most respected young men, and his great business ability made for him many friends. The casket was borne to the grave covered with beautiful floral tributes from the different S.P. classes, of which he was a member and teacher.

Deceased was formerly a student at the Simcoe High School.
