transcript of page 5 article from 25 Jan 1957 issue of Simcoe Reformer Mrs. Esther Hammond St. Williams: The funeral of Mrs. Esther Hammond who passed away on Saturday in Norfolk General Hospital after a fall in her home, was conducted from the Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday at two o'clock. Interment was in the Johnson Cemetery, St. Williams. Mrs. Hammond, who was in her 83rd year, was the daughter of David Price and Lydia King. One of a family of seven, she received her education at Unger's School. She married James Hammond in 1891 and to this union was born six children. After their marriage they resided on the 4th concession of Charlotteville. Mrs. Hammond moved to St. Williams several years ago. She was a member of the United Church, Ladies' Aid and Women's Institute. Later in life she joined the Jehovah Witnesses. She leaves four children, Mrs.
