Double Wedding

One of the most pleasant gatherings that has taken place in the Woodhouse neighborhood for some time was at the residence of Mr. Wm. V. Collver, on Tuesday, Sept. 28th, it being the marriage of his two daughters, Mary and Lizzie.

The grooms were Mr. Harry Paskins of Townsend, and Mr. Louis S. Gerow, of West Bay City, Mich.

About ten o'clock the guests to the number of about fifty began to arrive, each bringing some token of remembrance and good wishes for the brides and at 11 o'clock the Rev. Mr. Bennet, the pastor of the Woodhouse Methodist Church proceeded to arrange matters to the satisfaction of all parties present.

The brides were dressed in their travelling dresses and were attended by Miss May Woolley while Mr. Fred A. Collver, of Vittoria, performed a like office for the grooms.

After the ceremony the company sat down to a bounteous repast to which all did ample justice. The presents were both useful and valuable and showed good judgment on the part of the donors.

The happy couples left in the afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Paskins going by way of the Shenango to Cleveland and Mr. and Mrs. Gerow by train for Detroit and Bay City, accompanied by the good wishes of all their friends.

The girls will be missed from the neighborhood and especially from the church where they took an active part in the choir and Christian Endeavor meetings.
