Deserves a
Medal
On
Sunday the yacht, Eva, on her way from Hamilton to her new home at
Sandusky, Ohio, went ashore on the bar at Ryerson's Island. A very
heavy sea was rolling from the southeast, and not only were the lives of
the crew in danger, but the boat in imminent danger of breaking up.
The yacht, Edith, owned by Mr. W. E. Tisdale, of Simcoe, went to the
rescue. Mr. W. C. McCall bravely carried a line to the distressed
yacht, which, after much labor, was released from her perilous
position.
