Died at Guelph

On Wednesday morning, June 17, 1914, Mary Deming, wife of the late William S. Matthews, of Woodhouse, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph. 

Deceased had been a terrible sufferer from rheumatism for over twenty years, and some ten years ago thought he would like to go to her son, Arthur's, in Guelph.

Deceased was brought to her late home in Woodhouse and service was held on Friday afternoon, June 19. 

Interment was made in the Woodhouse cemetery alongside of her late husband, who died two months, lacking five days, before her.

The deceased is survived by one sister, Mrs. Samantha Sharp, of Woodhouse, and two brothers, Chas. Deming, near Walsh, and Alber [sic], of Florida; and by six sons, Charles of Brigden; Peter of St. Clair, Mich., Arthur, Vancouver; Wallace, Syracuse, N. Y., and William, on the old home, and by seventeen grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren. 

She was in her eighty first year, and her late husband in his eightyeth [sic] year when he died.
