Died While on a Visit

Mrs. Margaret Burley, relict of Thos. Burley, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Williams, St. Thomas, on Sunday evening, from the effects of paralysis. Mrs. Burley went there from Mabee five weeks ago on a visit, and three weeks ago was stricken with paralysis.

Mrs. Burley was in the 67th year of her age, and is survived by four daughters and three sons, viz: Mrs. J. F. Pauling, of Last Mountain, Sask.; Mrs. Charles Soper, New Sarum; Mrs. W. H. Williams, St. Thomas; Mrs. F. M. Anderson, Toronto; John Blakely, Culloden; Will Blakely, of Mabee, and Frank Blakely, Hamilton.

The remains were taken to Tillsonburg on Tuesday and the funeral took place on Wednesday from the home of W. Blakely, Mabee, to Bethel cemetery.

The pallbearers were, George Simmons sr., Albert Swinn, Isaac Atkinson, Wm. Woulds, Thomas Ball and James Brown. Rev. A. J. Loveday assisted in the service at the church. Her second husband, Mr. Thomas Burley, was buried in the same cemetery beside the Bethel church, on March 25, 1910, the same minister officiating. The family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
