The Late Henry Brandon

Henry Brandon died suddenly at his home in St. Williams on June 28, at the age of 73 years.

He was alone and when his son-in-law, Thomas Clemens, went into the house in the afternoon, he found him dead, having fallen a victim to heart trouble.

He was a son of the late Henry Brandon, who lived for many years and worked at watch-making on his farm were Browne Dease lives now.

All his life was spent in this neighborhood.

He married Miss Sarah Ann Atkins, a daughter of the late Thomas Atkins, who was well-known in Port Royal and Normandale.

Mrs. Brandon died five years ago, and was buried in the old burying ground at Normandale, and his remains were placed beside hers on Sunday.

Their children are: T. H. Brandon of South Bend, Ind.;
W. A. Brandon of Port Rowan; Mrs. W. J. Becker of Port Rowan; Mrs. Barlow, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Mrs. Thomas Clemens, South Walsingham; and Mrs. Deckers, Chicago.

He was a member of the Baptist church, a Conservative in politics, and a good citizen. He will be missed by many friends in the surrounding district.
