Kelvin

There passed away on Sunday night Mrs. William Almas, at her late residence, in her 59th year.

Deceased had been ailing for several months with heart trouble, but bore her afflication with Christian patience and fortitude. She was a consistant member of the Canada Methodist church, and was an esteemed neighbor and friend, always cheerful, loving and kind.

Deceased was the eldest daughter of the late George Bates of Beamsville. The funeral services were conducted by Revs. C. Hackett and M. Cotton, and were very largely attended.

She leaves to mourn her departure a sorrow husband, five daughters and two sons, namely: Welby Almas, Norwich; Mrs. Richard Tutt*, Kelvin; Mrs. George Mason, New Durham; Mrs. Irwin Savage, Northfield; and Misses Bella and Maggie, and Howard, at home, who have the sympathy of the whole community in their sad bereavement.

The remains were laid to rest in the Kelvin cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Abram Bates, Beamsville, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hodgkins of Silverdale Station, and William Bates of Hamilton,
attend the funeral of their sister, Mrs. William Almas of Kelvin on Wednesday.
