Died Suddenly in Florida
Mrs. Jennie A. Steinhoff
Sister of John Allgeo, passed away

Further particulars of the sudden death of Mrs. Jennie A. Steinhoff, sister of John Allgeo, Colborne street, which occurred on Sunday, March 1, at her winter home in Delroy, Fla., have been received this week.

Mrs. Steinhoff and her husband had been spending the winter in Florida, going there from Detroit, where they make their home in the summer. Mrs. Steinhoff had been in her usual health and that day had been bathing with others of the party.

Sunday evening she became ill and complained of pains in her arms. A physician in attendance pronounced her case as an attack of acute indigestion. Towards midnight she felt better and suggested that her husband retire for some rest. He had scarcely left the room when she was heard to gasp and she passed away before further aid could be administered.

The deceased lady leaves two sons, both married and living in Detroit. She was predeceased by the several members of a large family, Mr. Allgeo being the only member of the family now living.

The body was taken to Detroit for burial.

Mrs. Steinhoff will be remembered here by many of the members of St. James Methodist church as Jennie Allgeo. As a young woman she taught Sunday School class in connection with that church.
