Pte. J. W. Huke, formerly of the
133rd Battalion,
who is listed as killed in action, was a young
Englishman who made his home in the vicinity
of Port Dover for
some time. He was a modest, unassuming man, whom it was a pleasure
to know. Mrs. Huke and her two small daughters are at
present, we
believe, residing in Brantford.
