The following extract is from a page 11 article in the 11 Nov 1915 
issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

The following letter from Pte. S. A. Beaumont, who went with the second contingent from here ... is dated 23 Oct.

... I had a letter from E. Dolman of Waterford yesterday. He is still in bed at the Overcliffe Red Cross Hospital at Westchiffe-on-Sea, with his leg in splints. He is getting along as well as can be expected.

... the above is the first reference we have had of
